2017 Ask The Experts: Incredible Line Up Planned
Do you want to know what goes on inside a donor's head? Are you interested in learning how to turn your passion and sense of urgency into action like Lady Gaga? Do you want to know how to increase the value donors get from giving? Do you need extra pointers on how to rally people together for your cause?
All of these questions and more will be answered at our 2017 Ask The Experts conference this June! We have an incredible line up planned for this year’s conference, including two keynote speakers!
During the morning keynote presentation, you will hear from Aimee Woodall with The Black Sheep Agency, a cause-driven brand shop focused on amplifying messages and accelerating impact. Here’s an overview of the morning session:
The Lady Gaga Guide to Forming Emotional Connections (And the 5 new tools that'll help you turn the connection into change!)
Long before she jumped off the roof of NRG, Lady Gaga was a trailblazer. In music and in fashion—yes—but that’s not the interesting part. The most compelling thing about Gaga is her ability to rally people together for causes close to her heart. She has made standing for something cool and she’s brought thousands of people together to make an impact. Let’s steal some of that mojo for our own organizations while we talk Passion + Urgency and how to turn those emotions into action.
During lunch, you will hear from Dr. Adrian Sargeant, voted one of the top ten most influential people in the field by readers of Professional Fundraising Magazine. Here’s an overview of the afternoon session:
Sprinting to the Finish Line through Donor Engagement and Psychology
During our lunch presentation, we will explore philanthropic psychology, looking at how an understanding of donor psychology can increase giving in fundraising appeals. Focused on donor communication, you won’t want to miss learning how your organization can increase the value of giving by over 30%, while simultaneously adding to the value donors derive from their support.
In addition to these two incredible keynotes, we will offer 16 sessions full of topics from building your brand and pitching your story to managing volunteers and generational fundraising. We will also have a takeaway room – called “The Pit Stop” –where you can chat with experts on fundraising topics like prospecting and major gifts, as well as get feedback on your resume and annual appeal materials. Thinking about getting your CFRE? Don’t worry! We’ll have Certified Fund Raising Executives on hand to talk you through the process.
June 9th will not disappoint, as we explore how to shift the gears of philanthropy.
